Dr. Sunanda is a Consultant with Sharp Sight Eye Hospitals. She has completed her MBBS from Medical College, Kolkata & MS Ophthalmology from RIO, Medical College, Kolkata. She is experienced in advanced cataract surgeries including complex cases, and glaucoma management (trabeculectomy, glaucoma shunt, MIGS). She has also done SRShip in glaucoma and cataract from RIO, Medical College, Kolkata. She is actively involved in academics and have presented at several state and national conferences, including GLAUCOMA JOURNAL CLUB, Glaucoma confluence 2025, YOSI-IJO Live Wire, Vision workshop glaucoma 2024, 54th OSWB ANNUAL Conference, Opthaeva Conclave 2024 and 25, and others. With a keen interest in innovation and continuous learning, she strives to combine clinical expertise with the latest advancements in ophthalmology to deliver quality patient care. She is an Executive member of Glaucoma Subcommittee of OSWB (Ophthalmological Society of West Bengal).
