Dr. Vijay Mathur is a Consultant at Sharp Sight Eye Hospitals. He has completed his MBBS and MS (Ophthal) from AFMC Pune. He served for 33 years in prestigious and busy Hospitals of the Indian Army like Army Hospital (R&R), Base Hospital Delhi, Army College of Medical Sciences Delhi, Command Hospital Kolkata, Command Hospital Pune and Command Hospital Chandimandir. Fellowship in Anterior Segment Microsurgery from LVPEI Hyderabad and Sankara Nethralaya Chennai. He is recognized Professor of Ophthalmology by Delhi University, GGSIPU, Kolkata University and Pt BD Sharma University and also a recognized Professor, examiner and thesis guide in Ophthalmology by DNB.

He has numerous publications, research projects and papers to his credit. He started the Lasik OT at AHRR and spearheaded the Ophthalmology services in other service hospitals.
